What is Trezor Bridge?
Trezor Bridge is a lightweight local program that allows Trezor Suite and compatible applications to communicate securely with your Trezor® hardware wallet over USB. Because browsers restrict direct device access for safety, Bridge provides a trusted intermediary that forwards encrypted requests to the device. Critically, private keys remain on the hardware — Bridge never exposes the seed or private keys to the host computer.
Trezor Bridge Download, Trezor Suite App, Trezor Wallet Login, Error connecting Trezor accountHow to download and install
- Open trezor.io/start and select your model and operating system.
- Download Trezor Suite (desktop) or open the web suite; follow the prompt to install Trezor Bridge if required.
- Run the installer, connect your Trezor® hardware wallet with a trusted USB cable, and verify each on-device prompt during setup.
Troubleshooting: login and connection issues
Common problems are usually resolved with a few targeted steps. Try them in this order:
- Trezor login not working / Unable to login Trezor: restart the Bridge service or your computer, try a different USB cable/port, and update Trezor Suite to the latest version.
- Error connecting Trezor account / Suite app not working: temporarily disable browser extensions and antivirus that might block local connections; reinstall Bridge from the official site.
- Can't verify Trezor Wallet: always verify transaction details on the device screen; if the information differs, disconnect and investigate potential host compromise before proceeding.
- Trezor 2FA reset & account recovery: Trezor® uses a recovery seed phrase (12/24 words). Use the recovery tool in Trezor Suite and perform recovery only on a trusted system; never share your seed.
When to contact support
If the previous steps fail, consult the Trezor Help Center and official documentation linked from trezor.io/start. For suspected hardware faults or persistent connection errors, follow the verified support articles before sharing any device details — and never disclose seed words.
